In just one year, 85 new international MOM students will be able to apply the most innovative advances and the latest discoveries in the molecular basis of cancer to the clinic, thanks to the 85 fellowships awarded this month.

Our director, Dr. Mónica López de Barahona, welcomes our new students and wants to personally show her gratitude for the extraordinary support received from the AECC, the Escuela Andaluza de Salud Pública, the Fundación Hermanos Álvarez Quirós, the Fundación Condado de Taboada, Roche Farma, Lilly España and Brystol Myers Squibb, which has allowed that these students can attend our master.

Our official master is one of the most competitive at the international level, not only because is organized in collaboration with the Beth Israel Cancer Center in Harvard, but also because it is highly recommended by the European School of Oncology (ESO) and it is vailed by the Medical Oncology Spanish Society (SEOM) and the Sociedad Española de Hematología y Hemoterapia (SEHH).

Furthermore, we have selected our professors from top-notch institutions such as the Harvard-Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, the Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Oncológicas (CNIO), the MD Anderson Cancer Center, the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), and the Vall d´Hebron Institut de Recerca between others, the best experts in their fields, to share their knowledge with our students.

We are really excited to start this new year because of the enormous potential that our students have. We are sure that really important things are to come!!
